COOL IDIOT COFFEE & COOL IDIOT BEVIES was first ignited in Charlotte, NC by local native, Marley Shaver. Marley was the Coffee Director of Killer Coffee - a coffee program as an extension of the brand Resident Culture in which she previously was the Coffee Bar Manager for her mentor, Charlie Sullivan. After the retirement of the program, Marley moved on to start her coffee & bevies mobile cart in which she’ll be setting up a permanent home in a local small business in Southend in order to retain her loyal customer following!

Marley will always credit a lot of her skillset to previous employers like The Hobbyist & Not Just Coffee: Jay Street & Packard Place. Shoutout to Jake Morgan (of Kettl Tea) and Michelle Yow (Owner of Blacksheep Coffee) for being devoted to training Marley in the beginning stages of her early coffee career in October, 2020. Alice Pilch also played a significant role in helping grow Marley’s confidence in the coffee industry as she worked under her wing at The Hobbyist!
